Suma’s Organic white basmati rice is fragrant long grain rice that is light, fluffy and mild in flavour. A culinary staple in India, it adds soft texture to dishes and serves to sooth against the bolder, spicier flavours of curries, stews and dals.
Basmati rice is grown at the foothills of the Himalayas, where once harvested, it is matured over a year to develop its aroma and flavour. Serve this rice alongside warm vegetable and meat curries, or as the base of an aromatic Chicken biriyani or pilaf.
