The extra-wide noodles are made by a family of artisans in Japan using organic, semi-wholewheat flour. They’re made using a traditional roll-and-cut method, rather than more industrialised extrusion methods.
Add the wide udon noodles to broths or miso soup for a filling meal. Or fry the noodles with meat and vegetables after boiling to make yakiudon, a Japanese fried noodle dish. The organic wide udon noodles cook in boiling water in 10 minutes.
