With the Mermaid Silver anodised baking tray, your buttery shortbread biscuits and golden choux buns will have a perfect bake.
The lipped edges of this baking tray make it easier to carry and help avoid spillages. It us available in two sizes:
- 12" (318 x 216 x 18mm)
- 16" (430 x 325mm)
Aluminium offers even heat distribution throughout the entire tray, meaning there are no hot or cool spots, producing a consistent bake, everytime. This aluminum tray has undergone an anodising process which hardens the aluminium, making it tougher and resistant to rust and the effects of frequent use. This tray is a durable, long lasting piece of bakeware that can be used time and time again.
The bakeware improves with age. Unlike products coated with non-stick (PTFE), which deteriorate with use, frequent use of the Mermaid silver products will enhance their release properties. After each use, the anodised surface captures and retains a microscopic film of lubricant which builds up to form a ‘patina’.
