Place this striking porcelain platter in the centre of your dining table and let guests help themselves, family-style. Made in Japan, it is painted in shades of teal and earthy ochre and features a design of cranes in flight. About Seikou Porcelain
Seikou porcelain opened its kiln in Japan’s Ishikawa prefecture around a hundred years ago. The family-owned business produces porcelain tableware in the ko-kutani style. Kutani-yaki, or kutani ware, is known for its thick overglaze, bold colours and hand-painted detail. Kutani ware pieces are often decorated with flowers, animals and geometric motifs. Seikou porcelain uses traditional techniques to create colourful, contemporary crockery that is both beautiful and practical.
