In contrast to the popular Lebanese Cortas pomegranate molasses, Ebru pomegranate molasses is sweeter, with a lingering sour tang at the end. This pure variety contains pomegranate juice with no additives. It has a softer, less sticky texture to other varieties, meaning it would work well as it is straight from the jar.
Pomegranate molasses is incredibly versatile and can be used in both sweet and savory recipes in the following ways:
