Use Opinel’s maintenance oil to keep your kitchen knives in great condition. The plant-based oil can be used to oil blades and to nourish wooden handles and chopping boards.
The light, vegetable-based oil is easy to use. First, clean and dry your knife. Then, pour a few drops onto a soft cloth and gently rub into the blade and handle. For folding knives, allow the blade to completely dry before closing and storing. The oil is particularly useful for knives with natural wood handles.
