Spice up sauces and marinades with Spanish hot smoked paprika. It’s made from red peppers smoked over beech wood in traditional secaderos (smoking houses).
Deep red in colour, smoked paprika has an earthy taste and fiery heat. Add a generous pinch to any dish that needs a smoky kick. It’s fantastic in chilli con carne and stews made with beans and lentils. We like to sprinkle it over roast potatoes with a little oregano.
Add smoked hot paprika to dry rubs for pork and beef. It’s a great match for earthy spices like cumin and coriander. You can also mix it with oil and garlic to marinade vegetables before grilling.
