Frantoio Muraglia organic extra virgin olive oil is part of Muraglia’s ‘Essenza’ line, a range of their highest quality olive oils. It is made from coratina and peranzana olives that are hand harvested from Muraglia’s organic olive groves. The oil is delicate and fruity with a spicy finish.

Frantoio Muraglia’s organic extra virgin olive oil is loved by Michelin-starred chef, Cristina Bowerman of Glass Hostaria. Cristina describes this organic olive oil as ‘delicate, elegant, [and] is just shy enough and knows how to respect the ingredient in the dish, accompanying it.’ To try one of Cristina’s favourite dishes drizzle the organic olive oil over a hearty Italian chickpea soup, or Zuppa di Ceci.

Frantoio Muraglia are passionate about olives. Watching over their company is the oldest olive tree in their grove – a majestic Coratina olive tree that is at least 450 years old and still gives fruit. They’ve been growing and pressing olives in the same way for nearly five generations of the Muraglia family, and their extra virgin olive oils have won numerous awards.
