Use these edible dried pressed giant pansies to decorate wedding cakes. Or top cream cheese icing on carrot cake. The wafer thin flowers are pressed whole and measure roughly 6cm. The flowers are a delicate cream colour and deep indigo.
Paper thin and delicate, these beautiful flowers are semi-translucent. Use them to decorate the side of glass trifle bowls. Or experiment freezing them in ice cubes.
The pansies have a heady camomile scent.
Pressed flowers do not soak up liquid, and also float. Use them to garnish cocktails or scatter through a Champagne jelly.
