Casa Marrazzo’s yellow tomato purée is made from small, golden tomatoes grown on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.
Ripened by the southern Italian sunshine, the bright yellow tomatoes give the purée a wonderful aroma and a delicate, sweet flavour.
Use the purée as an alternative to classic tomato passata - it’s flavour is brighter and less acidic. It’s perfect for wood-fired pizzas, chilled tomato soups and sauces for white meat and fish. For a quick but impressive midweek meal, toss the purée through cooked spaghetti and top with roasted cherry tomatoes and fresh basil.
